About Me

From maths teacher to Personal Trainer

I am a professional wrestler (wwe style) and a strongman competitor, who first gained his interest in fitness, when I played rugby in college and American football at University, I’ve always looked to push myself and my capabilities whilst struggling with my body image. This is where i found a place (the gym) that I could switch off and leave negativity behind and lose myself. This is why as a coach, I focus on not only building a strong body but also a strong mind.

Specialist areas

After years of doing physical sports, injury prevention and rehabilitation have become necessities not only for me but for my peers. Which led me to work towards my current qualification in level 4 strength and conditioning, where i can further explore this expertise. I have also done some work on learning about exercise with mental health.

I have been training with Kingsley for the last 18 months and couldn’t recommend a better coach! Kingsley is very friendly, motivating and supportive. He understands the different barriers that affect someones ability to exercise/eat well, and he is great at adjusting a plan to make sure it fits well with your lifestyle and goals. He is also someone that values mental health just as much as physical health and he incorporates aspects of both in the weekly check ins.

I have always struggled to stay consistent with working out and therefore have only seen minimal results in the past. However since training with Kingsley, he has helped me to build strength and build muscle to a point where I am the happiest I’ve ever been in my body. My mental health has also improved. I am more confident, I have better self esteem, and reduced anxiety.

Kingsley is an all round great human who genuinely cares about people’s health and wellbeing.

Kingsley has been my PT for a few months now and I would highly recommend him to anyone of any fitness level. I go to the gym (reluctantly) to try and improve my health and fitness levels but it certainly doesn’t come easy for me. Kingsley will always greet me with positivity and encouragement and helps me to achieve a lot during the sessions. Since having PT sessions my confidence has increased, I understand the gym equipment a lot more and also my mental health has improved too. Whilst I sometimes joke that my PT sessions are like therapy, they really do help me both in and out of the gym.

I have known Kinsgley for a while now as we worked together previously. However, when Kingsley decided to become a personal trainer and I was trying to get myself back into a healthier condition, I didn’t hesitate to reach out to Kingsley for the help I needed.

Kingsley is highly motivational, he clearly knows his stuff, as I changed from a diy plan to one provided by Kinglsey, and the results have already started to show. I’m only part way through my journey but I would have probably given up if it wasn’t for Kingsley’s support and advice.

Kingsley is very flexible and will fit you in whenever he can, even at very late notice (sorry about that mate!). He will push you hard (yes I end up swearing at him) but he is very fair. He explains things as you go, so you’re not overwhelmed, so you can understand his methodology and he gives you a good range of variations to keep you interested.

He has also supported me through injuries (not inflicted through training) to keep me going and has given me great advice in the minefield that is nutrition, which has helped boost my recovery, performance and results.

I can’t rate Kingsley highly enough. He is an incredible professional and an all round amazing bloke. 100% would recommend giving him a go!

At first, I was hesitant about the idea of a personal trainer – mostly because I wasn’t sure if I even wanted to go to the gym regularly. (It was something my wife pushed me into!)

However, I decided to give it a go after a call with Kingsley. It was a significant change for me and my mindset however, nearly 1 year later, I am very pleased that I started at the gym.

Having Kingsley as a PT has made a massive difference as he has guided me through how to use every piece of equipment correctly, helped with a pelvic tilt which has reduced lower back pain that I’ve had for a long time and helped me feel happier about my body!

But with Kingsley, the support and help does not stop there – He genuinely cares about the people he trains, and you can tell. He remembers what you told him months ago and often mentions things down the line that you forgot you even told him. He is someone that cares about you and not just your goals.
